Day 12, Today was also not as successful given that I had take out for dinner, I did recycle as much as I could including going the extra step to rip the plastic part off of the paper part (why do they make contraptions like that), and I didn't do my 30 min work out because today was a just to crazy of a day but I'm gonna try to throw in some yoga before I go too sleep, and I saw a beautiful vase at goodwill I totally would have boughten if I wasn't actively "only buy things I need" and trust me I don't NEED a vase haha, I sure did want it though.

Day 11, yesterday was hard because I didn't do an hour of work out only the bare minimum being 30 mins (it might have only been 20mins though), and I had to buy a plastic bottle of water lucky it was a recyclable bottle, no shower today and on the terms of writing on the back of my paper I have been doing it much more during class and also still doing it with my printer for miss prints. Today I learned my printer doesn't give the option of printing two sided so basically it shouldn't even be allowed to be sold because it makes it impossible to use up all of the space given on the papers.

Day 10, yesterday was difficult to not use the disposable wear because I needed to bring my left overs home with me but I at least recycled them (those parts that could have been), My shower was right at 5 mins and my lunch was a giant salad which normally I probably would not have done if I wasn't being conscious about what i was eating, again I never use my phone expect for maybe when someone calls me before it dies and two people made the cut today so my technology use wasn't very high, and of course after this assignment my computer will be shut down and I love using my reusable water bottle.

Day 7, used my reusable coffee mug in stead of my water bottle but at least it wasn't a plastic bottle, I actually only used my phone during my astronomy class to use the calculator, finally got down to 5 mins, also wrote no the back of my paper during my class, trying to figure out my rain system, no disposables, and I haven't really been saying but I figured since I know I have a problem with buying more then I actually need i figure I would just completely stop this week and the only things I am buying is firewood (to keep house warm) and actual meal ingredients to prepare my meals like I walked out of my garden

Day 5, Although I didn't post yesterday I still do remember what I did. and of course did the computer, phone, and reusable water bottle, but what I found fascinating was when I was deep cleaning my house it was a challenge to recycle because I didn't just have paper, I had clothes that needed to get donated, bottles and cans that needed to be returned, and leaves that needed to go else where (past our fence in the forest), it actually took a good amount of time for me to put and bring stuff where it needed to go besides just throwing it in the trash. And my gym was closed and we don't normally have weights or workout equipment at home so I had to be really creative wit my work out lifting pumpkins, doing stretches on my bed and I found I was less motivated to actually do a good long work out at home by my self then if I were at the gym doing it with other people who were motivated to do the very best they can.

Day 6, Used my reusable water bottle again! haven't used any disposable dish wear, had a serving of veggies for lunch, printed on the back of the papers that were misprints or thrown in the recycling, going to the gym tonight, recycled everything I came in contact with (lucky no juice boxes were in my future today), used my cell phone to communicate with people once today, and computer is getting turned off right after this.  Although one of the choices for a challenge was taking 5min showers, note I didn't pick this one but I have been at least trying to implement it when I can. I normally take a deep clean shower once a week (shave, leave in conditioner shampoo) and I take about two quick wash body wash face get out kinda showers. I have been timing them to see if there were room for improvement and my quick showers take me about 7mins, and my deep clean ones take about 20mins. so, there is a little practicing going on or at least being attempted to change my ways.

Day 4, Today I didn't only write on the back side of my papers but also used paper that I had laying around that were misprints and reprinted and wrote on them, I used a reusable coffee mug today for my water, made lasagna  with a cup more veggies (added olives and peppers, normally I dont), recycled all my papers in my office today that I wouldn't recycle my self but just throw in the recycle bin (like using the papers that had misprints), leaving in an hour to go to the gym, and my cell phone was conveniently turned off all morning day and night long and every night I have been shutting down my computer

Day 3, didn't have any opportunity to write on the back of any papers to save paper, but I did use my reusable water bottle saving the earth from two more plastic ones and during work I recycled everything I could which was basically everything we normally throw away! my mind is actually blown away after seeing the giant pile of recycling we should be having everyday instead of garbage. the gym was closed by the time i got off work but I still did about 15 min workout at home which isn't 30 or more but atlas it was something, and I didn't use social media at all today! go me! thats a huge thing I'm trying to do better about,  and last but not least after this I'm turning my computer off when I'm no longer using it and not just closing it "putting it to sleep". Could have made more of an effect but I tried my best given I was at work all day.

Day 1, writing on the back sides of my notes to make sure to not waste paper, used my reusable water bottle twice and saved two plastic bottles, recycled everything that could have been, didn't use a single disposable plate, cup, or utensil, didn't buy anything i didn't need,  did 30 min exercise, throw in one cup of veggies with dinner, didn't us social media (besides things for homework), power down computer when not in use, disable screen saver to save energy! off to a good start good luck to the rest of you.
