In an effort to save energy I have unplugged all non used items, keep drapes open so the daylight can come in (what is remaining once I am off work), read a book rather than watch tv...it has been a nice change!

Getting back on a regular workout routine.  Going to the gym after work for at least 30 minutes 3-4 times a week.  Feels good!  Now, if I can just stick with it ;)

My team has set up a recycling box for cans and bottles.  One of my team members takes the cans/bottles home and her son helps recycle them.  This is not only great for the environment but also is helping the younger generation learn the importance of recycling while earning money.

Due to the wonderful weather we have been having in October(!) after work I have unplugged and I take the dogs out for long walks.  It is great exercise for the body and mind and the dogs love their time outdoors, WIN WIN

Participated in a benefit walk this weekend for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  We were able to raise over $5k for the non-profit organization and walked 3 miles along side survivors, supporters and in memory of those who have lost their battle with cancer.  Such a memorable event!  I am so happy Wells Fargo created a team for this event

I am very excited for this challenge! I normally do anything I can to stay green!

I try not to purchase water bottles but rather use a glass mason jar to refill at drink fountains. I love my mason jar I made; I drilled a hole on the lid and inserted a grommet so that I can use a straw!  I make them and sell them so that we can eliminate plastic water bottles all together!
