"I am going to work on 2 things during this eco-challenge: 1. Spend 30 minutes each day outside showing gratitude for nature by sketching the environment. I love drawing and painting but have lost touch with this as well. This gives me the opportunity to reconnect both with nature and with an old past time. 2. I have been in a slow process of cleaning out and trying to simplify my wardrobe. I will take major efforts and make sure clothes get to places where they can be reused during this time period! "

Rachel Foxhoven 10/22/2016 4:29 PMSo. Truth be told- with the distraction of getting home for my father's surgery, I have failed miserably during the first week of the challenge. But today! Today I finally spent 30 minutes outside sketching nature. And. it. was. awesome. I'll continue to the end of the challenge and maybe even further. -
