So far, so great! I'm really focused on purchasing only my 'needs' instead of my wants. I've been thinking about this a lot in the last year; the resources it takes to extract/manufacture/transport/market/pick out/store/maintain "stuff". Finally, these two weeks are here and I can feel entirely empowered to give this a genuine shot. I aim to prove to myself how this simple shift in perspective can improve my budget and my negative impact on Earth. I am looking forward to hearing more of West Linn stories and hope everyone continues to share their progress!

Hey, West Linn! What are you most excited about for this year's EcoChallenge? This time of year makes me feel extra motivated to get things done around the house. Leaky faucets, be gone!
