I used a reusable water bottle today to take to school. It was handy and kept me hydrated while avoiding consuming a plastic water bottle.

I walked through the garden today. The lemons are getting ripe, I might be able to pick them soon. There was a new flower blooming too, it was pretty and pink. I walked in silence, listening to my surroundings. The birds, sprinkling of rain, animals in the trees that surround the property. I thought about how all these creatures thrive in their own sort of 'garden', as the forest brings them all they need to survive. I thought about how we should all strive to thrive in our own 'gardens' (our local areas) rather than needing imported goods, because most likely we all have all we need nearby.

Today I made myself a waffle for breakfast and ate mindfully without any distractions. I savored the feeling of filling my body with energy for the morning.

I watered my neighbors' greenhouse today. It was very peaceful to spend a mindful moment with just me, plants, and a couple spiders that wandered in.

I love that you were able to experience the peace of working alone in a garden. I started a garden last year and had no idea how much it would help relieve stress and be in the moment. I always find myself spending more time in the garden than I planned :)

Today was raining but I put on my raincoat and took a small walk anyways. The smell of rain was pleasant and the fresh air was good for me.

Absolutely!  Just got back in from a walk as well and the cool air and damp earth smelled great!

I made oatmeal this morning and ate it quietly in my kitchen. Instead of looking at my phone like I usually do, I watched the trees rustle in the breeze through my kitchen window. It was nice.

I use a reusable water bottle every day. Whenever I leave my house I take it with me, it saves me from spending money on buying water, and also reduces at least one water bottle from entering a landfill whenever I leave my house for more than a few hours.

Today I spent half an hour in a garden, watering plants and enjoying the warm environment of a greenhouse without the distraction of electronics.
