My husband helped out by mulching many of the trees! We did some last weekend too. Warmer for the winter,  plus more nutrients.

Planning a new food garden area in the back of my yard. It will include different types of raspberries and blackberries because they do well in my yard and we never have enough of them!

Enjoyed another nice walk this morning.  An added benefit to all of this walking is meeting some of our new neighbors!

Hurried around the garden last night, moving some sensitive plants indoors, covering others, to beat the frost.  It was in the 30 degrees here last night.  I miss summer already! Will continue growing some of my tomato, beans and pepper plants inside for the winter.

Brought some of my strawberry and fig plants into the greenhouse to ready them for the upcoming frost. The pepper plants are doing well in the greenhouse for now.

I am thankful in my life for all the family and friends that I have (human and furry), for being lucky enough to be relatively healthy and to have "enough", actually more than enough things, so I share/donate as much as I can.  I saw this on the internet some time ago (I don't know who wrote it) and treasure it, and wish all of you "enough" too dear friends!

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough “Hello’s” to get you through the final “Goodbye.”

    :)
