Valentina Olivadese 10/21/2016 6:34 AMI am lucky enough to have the option of working from home, so I took the chance to add it as one of my actions for today :)-
Paul Ventura 10/21/2016 12:14 PMGood idea, Valentina. I'm working from home today, too, and reducing my normal commute by almost 40 miles. According to the EPA that's only a daily reduction of about 225 grams of CO2 emissions, since I have a Prius hybrid. But over the course of a year, that cuts my overall CO2 emissions of 2.5 metric tons by about 15-20%. And that's worth it!

Valentina Olivadese 10/20/2016 6:53 AMWe've been having unseasonably warm weather here in the Northeast for the last couple of days, up to the mid-80s yesterday! Took the chance to shut down the heat and keep the windows open. Good times! :D -
Valentina Olivadese 10/19/2016 9:22 AMHello everyone!
First of all I want to thank Paul for reminding me to log in and post the results of my challenges, I kept meaning to do it but always had something else to do :P I have added a few more challenges to my profile. Some fit my daily lifestyle already, like car sharing and weekly meal planning, others are a little bit more of a change like changing the light bulbs. I am very happy to have joined the challenge and see how my daily actions have an impact on the world around me.-
Paul Ventura 10/19/2016 9:36 AMThanks, Valentina. I realize we're all busy and this year the Eco-Challenge allows us to go back to past days to check-off actions we've already taken. We can do this all the way up to 11:59 on October 28th, the final day. Sounds like a due date for a course assignment, doesn't it? :-)
Success to you!
