Friday I visited a new nature area in Beaverton. It was completed earlier this year as part of an effort to restore Hall Creek. It was a short walk, but included several informative signs describing techniques used and the reasons behind them.
There was also a vivacious lot of ducks!

Awesome wind today! I plan on taking a long walk in SE Portland tonight to get dinner and sponge up some rain.

Due to being signed up for volunteering with the Hoyt Arboretum as part of Portland Parks Parke Diem event, it was easy today to eat at least one meal outdoors and spend at least one extra hour outside. Volunteering was great, I helped re-pot quite a few tree saplings being grown for addition to the arboreteum and had a wonderful time absorbing the fall colors and weather.
