Also, we made another 'Sheet Pan Supper' from the cook book - amazing roasted chicken with lemon and rosemary.  Add in the sliced potatoes and it was delicious !  Next time though to get some vegies  into the recipe, I would add brussell sprouts or even corn on the cob to the pan.  Would add a lot of color and more nutrients to the meal.

No TV last night - although it was tempting.  Instead I organized some items in my studio - I love vintage items and feel good about purchasing old lace and buttons.  Possibly keeping them from the landfill, but also reusing them to make other artful creations.

One of my challenges is making a weekly menu, purchasing the necessary ingredients and then following through with making the meal !  It was fun to look through a cookbook I purchased but hadn't used yet and finding a few options with local ingredients - it's called 'Sheet Pan Suppers'.  I posted a photo of our BBQ Chicken Nachos on Instagram last night - #nweiecochallenge.  And the bonus ?  They were delicious !

I love visiting my local farm for fresh fruits and vegetables; especially in the fall.  Thistledown Farm never disappoints and I was delighted to find these gorgeous brussel sprouts that will find their way into a meal this week.
