    I have been able to be mindful at least once a day, but very few days did I make it every meal. I look forward to the Ecochallenge in 2017 to challenge myself again!

    The challenge is nearly over, but I am determined to challenge myself for the rest of the year. I find I am quite spoiled when I take up this kind of challenge. It's good to do without or do with less. It's good for me and it's good for the earth.

    This has been a huge challenge for me this year. In the past I have lived with the heat turned down and conserved water like crazy, but the mindful eating is really kicking me! I'm still trying!

    After adjusting to the 2 degrees I was able to turn the thermostat down another degree yesterday!

    I chose the Simplicity Challenge of Mindful Eating because I knew it would be the most difficult for me. I have tried to practice up until this point and have not met my goal. Today I kick it up a notch and get serious!

    I am so excited about the new categories this year. This is not easy for me and I am really going to have to force myself to stick with it! The thermostat is not difficult now when I capture the heat from the sun during the day and  use extra blankets at night. The eating mindfully and tracking my money is the difficult part. I'm excited to see how much I can accomplish.
