I watched the food documentary  Cowspiracy for one of my challenges. The movie makes a pretty good  argument that a plant based diet has a  significantly less energy, water and carbon impact compared to an animal based diet. After doing a bit of  research, I have found that animal protein production takes on average 100 times more water and 10 times more energy then plant based protein production!

I signed up for this challenge because despite being fairly energy and water conscious, I love hot showers! I've been setting a timer every morning and have been pleasantly surprised that this isn't too difficult - provided that I don't zone out in the shower as I was prone to in the past.
