    I carry 2-3 reusable bags in my purse at all times so I never have to accept one of the stores plastic bags.  If my purchases exceed the capacity of my bags, I will purchase another one just so I don't have to use the stores bags.  I am very adamant about the reuse of bags.  I truly believe that I am making a difference for the environment.

    Best LED light bulbs according to electricians are Cree or Fiet brand.

    Very excited to receive my report from the third contractor and sign on to purchasing 8 solar panels that will cover about 3/4's of my electricity bill (which is already very small because I did Clean Energy Works first.) The panels won't go up this week, so I hope this still counts toward my actions.

    I'm using the stairs instead of the elevator at least once per day. Good for my health and saving electricity.

    So far so good. My body is super appreciative of my efforts to get to bed earlier consistently. How? I set an alarm on my phone for 20 minutes before I want to go to bed, and then I put it down for the remainder of the evening. I sleep better, and get other things done! Win-win-win.

    On the first day of the challenge, my Pavlovian brain led me right up to the elevators, and I nearly pushed the button.  Ironically, the elevators were down on Friday, October 14.  I had no choice but to take 7 flights of stairs up to my office!  Forced to challenge.
