Lindsey Maser 10/18/2016 9:07 AMI thought meeting the "no disposable plates, cups, or cutlery" challenge wouldn't be too hard, but I'm realizing how often it's out of my control. I went to a training where lunch was served in all to-go packaging (even though it was catered onsite) and then to dinner with colleagues where the drinks were served in to-go cups (even though we were eating in). At least I was able to avoid one disposable cup with my coffee mug this morning! :) -
Genevieve Joplin 10/14/2016 3:24 PMGuess what? 2 out of the 3 elevators were being repaired today, so the 7 flight daily challenge was ON! I wonder how many other folks are getting points for their teams by taking the stairs?! -

Lindsey Maser 10/13/2016 4:53 PMOne of my challenges is to not use any disposable take-out items, which will be difficult since I’m traveling and have guests in town during the EcoChallenge. I’ll be eating out more, and the portions are often so large I end up requesting to-go containers for leftovers. So I’m aiming to put a stack of re-usable food containers near my front door and at my desk at work, so I can grab one to put in my bag when heading out. -
Genevieve Joplin 10/13/2016 10:38 AMA few years ago our building had a fun challenge to get staff to take the stairs instead of the elevator. I recall one promo poster had a "battle" between Luke Stairwalker and Darth Elevator!!! How memorable and creative! I am re-energizing my inner "Stairwalker" and will take the stairs at least once daily when at work. See you all on the stairs! -
Lindsey Maser 9/22/2016 10:51 AMI just added a daily calendar reminder about my challenges each morning Oct 14-28th - now I have no excuse of forgetting!
