Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

Been cutting down on my meat eating for a long time, I haven't eaten beef in about 6 months but have been able to stay away from chicken, fish, and pork pretty easily. Ride to school on my bike any day that it isn't raining. And have been able to only buy one or two things that have plastic.

Just realized I can get points for being part of a non-profit or environmental organization. I have been a member of the Sierra Club and 350.org for almost two years and they do some great work in Oregon. And I decided to try and sign up with the FreshWater Trust and Oregon Wild, two local non-profits that I am in contact with to hopefully find a job...so hopefully that counts.
I have been collecting my waste for the past week to see my landfill impact but during that time I have been able to drastically reduce my plastic consumption, and have been avoiding plastic any chance I can.

I've been trying to walk to school on rainy days instead of driving. Walking home in the rain has been super duper fun.

I bought a Klean Kanteen, reusable water bottle. and it has reduced the amount of plastic water bottles I use to zero

Does any body know if we can go back to previous days and plug in our work or is there no going back after the day?
