Though I didn't replace my whole lawn I did plastic over more than half of my lawn with the intent of doing the rest in November. After the grass has died I will turn the soil and plant native plants/ground cover in its place. Looking forward to the next phase of that project.

It's been hard to make myself leave my desk and go for a walk just for the sake of taking a walk when I have piles of work to do. However, every time I do it, I come back feeling great and I'm always glad I do it afterwards. For me the biggest hurdle is just forcing myself to make it a priority.

One of my challenges is to get outside and walk more. At work, I often work straight through the day with no breaks. At lunch, I am either at a lunch meeting or eating lunch at my desk. Most days, I hardly get outside at all and that is a terrible habit! This afternoon, I took time to get out of the office and take a walk. I came back feeling refreshed and focused!

I was off to a not-so-great start! I did work only 8 hours on Friday, I did not take a short walk, and unfortunately I bought some stuff I did not need. Saturday I begin again!

I'm excited to get going.  I have selected a number of challenges, but I think that they will be attainable goals and well worth the effort.  Go Team OCT!!!!
