Shaunna Sutcliffe 10/24/2016 3:17 PMOn this the last day of the challenge I am making a meal consisting entirely of either leftovers or food that needs to be eaten within a day or two.Taco Casserole it is! However, that means that I must consume meat :(. I can see now how my challenges are at odds with eachother! I am happy Iwas able to share my food waste prevention tips with some other members of our office and the community lat Friday as well :) -
Shaunna Sutcliffe 10/20/2016 9:48 AMThis week almost every day I enjoyed 2 out of 3 meals meat-free. It was a little harder when I was on the go and not eating or preparing meals at home. I was not successful with the food waste prevention the first part of this week and I think its because my husband went grocery shopping! We ended up with lots of bread and snacks and fruit which we may not eat in time :( Good thing I know how to preserve/freeze food an use it later! -
Shaunna Sutcliffe 10/12/2016 1:30 PMI've already started my vegetarian challenge with all of my meals in the last 2 days being veg. As long as I have any easy protein, its actually easier to cook this way and faster! -
Shaunna Sutcliffe 10/11/2016 3:32 PMI just made my pledge to reduce food waste and eat more meatless meals! I'm excited for this challenge to push me a bit out of my comport zone!
