Heidi Bertman 10/26/2016 7:12 PMSomething I hadn't really realized - but being in a place where the weather is so warm much of the year, it's easy to fall into the local habit of eating outside. A nice addition to my list of actions. -
Heidi Bertman 10/24/2016 5:04 PMEating meatless meals in Texas is kind of hilarious! -
Heidi Bertman 10/23/2016 3:09 PMGetting ready for a trip inspired an energy saving task that I have been meaning to do for awhile: adding a timer to our living room light so we will have light on in the dark evenings ahead but not leave the light on unnecessarily. Some day we might get a more connected system, but for now it's a simple solution. -
Heidi Bertman 10/22/2016 5:40 PMGot some extra, and very much needed, rest last night and took a nice walk outside this afternoon - what a beautiful fall day! Now to find a blankie while I read in order to avoid turning up the heat... -
Heidi Bertman 10/20/2016 7:06 PMOnline energy audit = done! No real news there - our 1947 house with some lax insulation attempts by previous owners is not winning any awards. At least we have storm windows - those mitigate a lot of the potential draftiness. -
