gail chastain 10/24/2016 4:56 PMI went to the World Forestry Center yesterday, and was surprised to learn that clear cutting is actually one of the best ways to harvest trees for lumber, as it uses fewer resources. I was also relieved to learn that per Oregon law, harvested lands must be replanted within 2 years. Yay Trees!
