    Transportation: with so much adulting, I've had days where I need to drive rather than ride my bike. Staying conscious of my efforts to live green, I make every time I do drive as efficient as I can by running other car assisted errands or by carpooling with family members or friends.

    Turning on the oven and cooking at home in the evening heats up the house. Invite people over for dinner and live activity boosts that warming power.

    I kept my goals simple this year. Two that intimidate me are 5 minute showers and eating only local...saving those for next year.

    Has it been a year already?! This is great because I continued with last years' challenges through this past year and I am ready to add more earth friendly habits.
