So many of the challenges are items that I already incorporate into my life -- it's so hard to find things to do! I know I should have taken a transportation challenge, since that's my weakness... but I have been slipping with simple things like turning off lights, so taking another look at my own actions is something I need to do right now. Am I keeping up with my old goals? Am I thinking too highly of myself as a tree hugger? Am I actually doing what I say I do? Having the knowledge to know where my electricity and water is coming from is important -- as is knowing the technology behind it.

Great observations! Don't forget that you can always create your own actions, too. One of community teammates decided to make greater effort to get to know her neighbors. Such a thoughtful effort towards creating more inclusive communities. 🙏🏻

I know it's silly, but I'm really scared of taking the "public transportation" challenge. At this point in time, I need to be able to make it home as soon as possible if there is a family emergency and our town's bus system make a 20-40 min. loop. That's about 10-30 minutes slower than what I can get driving. If there are times when I don't have that time issue, I'll definitely try out the bus, though!
