Chris Eby 10/25/2016 8:52 AMLet's go Trash Talkers! We are movin' & shakin'! -
Chris Eby 10/18/2016 8:15 AMMy recycle container is filling up and my trash can is staying (almost) empty! It's important to really look at what you are about to throw away and make sure it is truly trash and not something that can be recycled. So far I'm sticking with all of my challenges. The hardest has been working out 30 minutes a day, but I am huffing and puffing my way through it and am feeling the benefits. Happy Tuesday!

Chris Eby 10/17/2016 9:31 AMI definitely recommend spending time outdoors and being grateful for the amazing earth (even the rain!). I was able to meditate and it was very relaxing.

Chris Eby 10/05/2016 11:08 AMRecycle Tip of the Day:
Lots of charities welcome your donations. Groups like Freecycle and The Arc of SW Washington accept useful objects that you just don't want or can't make use of. You can also utilize Craigslist and make use of the "free stuff" section. Give away clothes that don't fit, the boxes you used in your last house move, or scented soaps that don't appeal to your sensibilities. Make it a rule in your house that nothing useable goes in the trash until you've given the community a fair shot at it.

Chris Eby 10/04/2016 3:13 PMWoohoo! I just signed up for the Compost Food Waste challenge! -
Chris Eby 9/27/2016 8:22 AMSo far so good! I have been very diligent about making sure that I am recycling all recyclable items. My garbage can is nearly empty! It's great when you realize just how much can go into the recycle container. -
Chris Eby 9/26/2016 12:51 PMHello Monday! Over the weekend my family bought reusable water bottles. Reusable bottles will help in reducing the amount of disposable water bottles that fill up our landfills. We would typically go through about 36 bottles of water each month. That is 432 plastic bottles every year that we will no longer be purchasing. Who doesn't like saving money and the environment? It's definitely a win-win.
