I am so excited to be back in the US. Now I don't need to buy disposable water bottles! Even though I really wanted to take a nice long shower I held back and set my 5 minute timer. Every little thing helps.

Since I have been in Mexico for a week I was not able to avoid bottled water but I was sure housekeeping knew I wanted the bottles to be recycled. I was also able to see a recycle center in Mexico!

This weekend while I was grocery shopping I bought all bulk items. I built the weekly menu around these items to avoid any single use packaging. Not only was the recycle bin practically empty this weekend I also save about 18 dollars! Who wants to pay for plastic any way!

Last night I started packing for my trip to Mexico. I have my travel water bottle and bamboo utensils. I am going to try and use as little disposable silverware as possible. Who needs silverware for tacos anyway!!
