Alex Galbraith 10/31/2016 8:44 AMI learned that there are many things that we can do individually to help the environment. For example, I learned that by using cold water while doing laundry, one can decrease one's carbon footprint. I also realized that my environmental impact has worsened a bit since moving into the dorms because I have less control over things that I consume/waste than I did in my own home. It's a lot harder to recycle all recyclable materials especially when my roommate isn't on board to recycle.
