Kate Barber 10/18/2016 12:58 PMSounds lovely! Great that you've got a green thumb. I confess... Sometimes I struggle to keep even ivy alive! But I will work harder in this regard. I think the more we nurture living things, including plants, the more our eco-conscious our behavior becomes in many other aspects of our lives. Kudos!

LOKESH GOWDA 10/16/2016 11:30 PMGood news. I am already in this field of energy saving from past 12+ years. I am using solar water heater of capacity 200 liters. In 3 to 4 hours of sunshine I am getting nearly 40-50 degree centigrade heated water. We can use water directly from tank in this condition.
In cold season or rainy season we will have less sunshine due to this the water temperature is not enough to take bath or use, to save electricity we can feed pre heated worm water from solar tank to instant water heating system. This will save lot of energy, compared to heating normal water.
I am using alternate water heating solution by burning coconut shells. For this we have separate fire wood water heating facility. Every day we need nearly one coconut for cooking. The hard shell which remains is collected in summer nearly 5 to 6 months. If you feed pre heated warm water from solar tank to fire wood water heating tank this will consume less coconut shells.
Totally energy and time saving method
