Rebecca Gring 10/14/2016 8:29 AMIt is super easy, in our convenience oriented 1st world culture, to choose the path of least resistance and the quick answer to instant gratification. With numerous consumer options everywhere saturating our day to day, it super easy to not even realize that the choices we make as a collective are impacting the world we live in on a greater scale.
I am so guilty of this. At the risk of sounding like an annoying hipster, my life is ‘designed’ to be green and out-worldly focused. Then the reality of living life sets in- “driving is faster and I am running late, I forgot to pack a lunch, the compost bin is sooo faaar away”.
I pledge to remind myself that what I do every day- the choices I make every impact our environment.
