Changing routines can be hard, but really, it only takes a couple of days to readjust.  Think about when you enrolled in school...what a commitment!  But once you got going, it became routine.  Helping the environment is the same way.  It just takes a little effort and a lot of hope and belief that things can change...especially if we all participate.

We pack our own lunches, we reuse the sandwich and snackbags until they are too gross to use, and we absolutely do not purchase bottled water.  The stuff in our sink is great.

I'm with you on the bottled water.  I only drink it if it's the only alternative for some reason.

Our whole family (except the dog) is on-board with making sure all lights are off, all stereos and tvs are shut off, and most impressive is how we're all turning off the computer when we're done.  Once it became a routine, it became second nature.  We're hoping to see a reduction in our power bill as well

Jeanette Gara-Betzold sent me a link to join this challenge.  It's part of LCSC's affiliation with the ECOCHALLENGE.  I feel that I can contribute more towards the betterment of the environment and make some changes about my behavior that will help the ECOCHALLENGE make a difference in the world in which we participate.  Thank you to the organizers, and thank you to the participants for making the efforts to help stabilize the immeasurable effects humans are having on the planet.
