Throughout the duration of this eco-challenge I have found the that many of the challenges have greatly improved my day to day routines. By allowing myself to live simpler, it has created a much more stress free environment for myself. I feel this type of living style has greatly improved my state of mental health. Practicing simplicity has helped me stay organized with my studies as well as helped me think more clearly about the task at hand. Taking it upon myself to be outdoors has also helped improve my mental health as well. These challenges are definitely characteristics I see myself implementing into my everyday life.

Along with these great benefits I have also been disappointed in some of the challenges that I have not been able to complete. Joining a CSA was a task I was very optimistic about at the beginning of this years Eco-challenge. I was very hopeful I would be able to get plans together to join a local CSA, but a combination of limited time and having a college student budget hindered my ability to complete this task. While this was the biggest challenge I wanted to accomplish, not achieving this goal will make me all the more hungry to accomplish this down the road.

I have found that this Eco-challenge has been very beneficial to not only my interest in the sustainability of the environment but also my organization skills. By limiting my social media skills and spending more time in nature it has allowed myself to live a simpler life which has helped my organizational skills. Along with these benefits, I have also found some challenges throughout this eco-challenge. Joining a CSA in the local area has become more challenging than I had expected. As a college student a CSA was a little more expensive than I had expected, so this goal is not one that I will be able to obtain. I had asked a few friends if they wanted to share the cost, but we did not end up finding a CSA that fit into our budget. So, unfortunately this is not a goal that I will be able to obtain during this challenge.
