Kym Meehan 10/21/2016 2:26 PMGreat start to a Friday! I have to say, I'm enjoying not creating so much waste! From bags, to cups, to lunch containers, it's nice to use reusable containers. -
Kym Meehan 10/17/2016 1:39 PMThis weekend was a little bit challenging but doable. I did get a coffee out when I had not intended to and I didn't have my reusable mug BUT this was a great lesson. I may not be able to carry a reusable mug with me everywhere but it got me thinking that I can carry a reusable water bottle and possibly avoid getting coffee out anyway! Here's to another day of challenges!

Kym Meehan 10/14/2016 4:15 PMReplaced screen time today on the bus. Instead of watching something on my phone or wasting time on social media, I read my book of Zombie short stories! It's really "research" for school but it happens to be in an area I highly enjoy. Zombies :)

Kym Meehan 10/14/2016 4:01 PMSo far so good! Almost had a slip up getting my afternoon coffee but managed to remember my reusable cup! Creating no waste and using reusable containers will be challenging but I'm looking forward to being conscious about the amount of waste I'm piling up. Day 1 success!-

Kym Meehan 10/12/2016 1:46 PMI decided to up the ante a little, I felt I could contribute more than just reusable containers/bags/ and mugs. I've added an energy and simplicity section as well. I'm going to start washing laundry with cold water when I can instead of using warm all the time. I'm also going to stop watching all the crap TV and social media surfing that I do each night to unwind and instead read a book, draw, or take the puppy for a run. Of course I'm going to stay up to date on AHS and Ash vs. Evil Dead but you get the idea :) Cut out using the screen to pass the time. -
Kym Meehan 9/22/2016 8:46 AMGearing up for my waste challenge! Have a great reusable water bottle, a pretty good reusable coffee mug (may need separate one for tea), and I'm going to start using our reusable container subscription to cut out waste at the food carts! The hardest part I think will be groceries and getting my spouse on board but that's why it's a challenge!
