    Discovered a new trail from Lower Macleay Creek to Pittock Mansion this weekend in Forest Park. Perfect weekend for a fall hike.

    Did a terrible job of completing my health challenges yesterday! I plan to make up for it today by going for a run + strength training + NOT eating brownies (aka my favorite food).

    Yesterday I brushed up on sustainable seafood choices via the Seafood Watch website. Biggest takeaways for west coast seafood lovers like myself: Avoid Chinook salmon, Coho salmon and wild halibut (sad face). Instead, choose PNW wild salmon (yay), Alaskan cod, pacific Albacore tuna and Canadian Tilapia.

    Currently researching the key environmental issues supported by our state senators to complete my one-time challenge of expressing support for more environmental actions.

    Also - Yesterday I majorly failed to avoid refined sugar...I love cookies and Reese's peanut butter cups too much to go cold turkey.

    Although I didn't get to the driving range last night, I did 40 minutes of strength training and 25+ minutes of walking. Feeling good!

    Ate in with a reusable container for lunch today and nearing completion on an 8 hour work day today. Planning to go to the driving range after work for some exercise (core workout!).
