I'm feeling pretty accomplished and a bit sad that the challenge is over. I got off the MAX early this morning and walked into work, and volunteered at my daughter's school this evening. Feeling happy and healthy.

I can't believe it's been two weeks with zero refined sugar. Today was pretty tough with the beautiful truffles that came into the office today. And the muffins. And candy...

I rejected caramel corn this weekend...which is basically my cryptonite. #sugaristhedevil

After completely abusing my body with whiskey last night, I got back on track today with enjoying the outdoors (and our 1 sunny day for the entire week), and some organic meals.

I started reading a book while on the train, rather than scroll through the news on my phone. While the book is intense, and disturbing at times, it's far better than reading about the election. I feel my blood pressure has dropped tremendously.

Yoga tonight and last night! Ashley and I went to a place for lunch with organic ingredients, and we produced zero disposables.  Not consuming sugar is still hard, but getting easier.

Today, I decided to go local. I bought a lovely necklace at a local artisan fair and supported my community, instead of buying something mass-produced. I also stocked up on some organic produce, and rejected all plastic bags that came my way.

The woman at Fred Meyers got a little upset with me when I asked her, mid-bagging to please use a paper bag. I also went to a birthday party today and refrained from all of the sugar. No exercise today, but at least I accomplished a few things on my list.
