Rebecca Roberts 10/19/2016 11:09 AMI joined the FB page of my new city so that I can be updated on happenings and can also share positive environmental efforts or actions going on in the area with others. -
Rebecca Roberts 10/19/2016 11:00 AMI have contacted the local garbage company to find out what can be done to begin a composting program similar to Portland's in my town and offered to work on the solution by being a community advocate or whatever else I can do on a volunteer basis. -

I posted my first solar energy usage report to my FB page. It was our first day of solar power generation and we made 65.8% of our energy usage from our panels on a grey and rainy day. What will summer be like?! -
Rebecca Roberts 10/19/2016 10:52 AMI shared the activity on my new solar panels with people who were on a school field trip to Bonneville Dam. It was an Energy day. -
Rebecca Roberts 10/14/2016 2:14 PMI have a lot of one time challenges so every day, I don't see too much progress, but I went for a walk but missed the social media limit because I didn't realize today was the start day and already blew that one. I'm going to stay off for the rest of the day though. That will prep me for tomorrow. It's about growth, right? -
Rebecca Roberts 10/06/2016 9:45 AMI've been posting on FB about my solar installation. It is almost ready to turn on. I can't wait to post that I've flipped the switch! And show how much energy I'm generating even in the Fall. -
Rebecca Roberts 9/20/2016 11:04 AMI have chosen several challenges. Many are one-time challenges but they build a foundation for the future like joining a local organization. Some I have chosen because I have moved into a new home in a new community and they are things that I need to do anyway--declutter, reach out the community. Then there are a few that are for my soul in other ways like adopting a "needs vs. wants" approach and limited social media time both are done for myself and for modeling that behavior for my children. All-in-all, it will be a busy time, but it is more fun to make it a challenge and have some fun with it than to just do it because I "need" to.
