Okay .... One more day to go, however, my plan is to continue on whether there is a contest or not. This challenge has made me look at many things differently opposed to last year.  Last year was a contest  and fun at that!  This year?  I've learned that I want to continue in the habit I've been working on; make it a true lifestyle change!  Hopefully we will all learn from this and maybe get others to join us in lifestyle changes.

I give a BIG kudos to those who are participating and have a spouse and/or family.  When you live alone it is easy to make self-challenges and not have to be considered about the spouse or family.  I'm sure a lot of people are willing to do it together, but I'm sure there are a few who don't prefer to do the challenge with you.  Soooo  ..... A BIG KUDOS TO YOU FOLKS .... It makes the challenge harder but more rewarding in the long run!   Come on TEAM  let's WIN this thing  :)

You know, this may sound funny, but for me taking the EccoChallenge is helping me to prepare for my future retirement.  It will teach me ahead of time to save in so many ways. These are things you don't think about when it comes time to retirement, but in all actuality? It is something that will become automatic; I won't have to learn it later, I'm learning it now.
