Gregg Sanders 10/20/2016 1:12 PMAwesome timing today. It stopped raining, so I dashed out for my mid-day walk. The rain came back literally 100' from the door on the return trip! What luck! -
Gregg Sanders 10/20/2016 9:52 AMToday is turning out to be a really nice day for my mid-day walk. Looking forward to a (hopefully) dry walk at lunch. -
Gregg Sanders 10/19/2016 6:53 AMCycling is a great sport, but the rain can make it dangerous. Yesterday I heard of a friend who had a very bad accident on some light rail tracks. So, here are a few tips about crossing tracks:- Always cross at a 90-degree angle (never slide across parallel)
- When tracks are wet, they are like greased ice--amazingly slippery
- If your daily route has a section of track, try to find an alternate route--the extra couple of minutes added are worth your safety
- Lastly--always ride defensively on the roads--especially during commuting
Stay safe and enjoy the ride. Well wishes to CB!
