Alex Schrampfer 10/31/2016 10:02 AMI learned that if I take a faster shower I can greatly impact a multitude of things. Obviously I will impact that amount of water being used, but I will also use less energy because less water needs to be heated for my shower. Heating uses a lot of electricity as well so fossil fuels are being used. Building off that less CO2 is being put into the air which causes Global warming. Just a small change in my daily habit can have a small impact but if everyone did this our emissions would be greatly reduced. I have always turned the sink off while brushing my teeth and shaving to I have been pretty good about that. I also wait until I have a full load to use the wash machine and I've noticed I can fit about 3 wash machine loads into 1 dryer load. These are the ways that I've have been able to reduce my water usage.
