    A bit of a challenge to have meatless meals when travelling. I did have a vegetarian dinner but had small amounts of meat for breakfast and lunch so I could have adequate protein.

    Only had one meatless meal today.  Went to the coast and could not resist a cup of clam chowder.

    Didn't meet the simplicity challenge today but I'm listening to encouraging words while I eat cheese and an apple, and I can still hear the rain outside my window.

    So far so good.  Not much to say at this point. Ah, simplicity even with words.

    So far it's been easy.  I've been enjoying the quiet time during meals and haven't missed the meat so far.  I purchased some meat alternatives which I look forward to incorporating into my usual weekday dinners. No issue with turning off my computer today because I never turned it on.

    I have already started to turn off my computer&monitor after I am done using them.  It seems I just needed to remind myself to do this - thanks post it note!  I have been eating most of my evening meals & a few lunches the past week with no distractions.  I have noticed I eat more slowly and chew thoroughly when I am paying attention.  I am looking forward to eating more meatless meals and have plans to make a big batch of hearty veggie-mushroom soup - perfect for a rainy evening meal.  All ready to start in full tomorrow!

    I am getting an early start on retraining myself with better habits: Yesterday, I ate a vegetarian lunch and dinner.  I ate dinner in my backyard listening to the sounds of the neighborhood and enjoying a warm evening.  I turned off my computer before going to bed.  All is well.

    Looking forward to this challenge.  I chose items that I already do often but not all the time and would like to improve on. The most challenging will be eating without distractions and I am curious to see what effects this will have on my appetite & feeling of well being.
