    Day 8:
160 gallons saved and 420 minutes spent outside. I went to the Tualatin nature park again, it is only a 15 minute walk from my place. After reading more about environmental justice, I wonder how many communities in our area have access to nature like I do.

    Day 7!
140 gallons saved so far! I spent the morning at the Hoyt Arboretum completing a field trip for my forest biology class. It was a tree scavenger hunt where we had to find and identify 10 native trees. The deciduous trees were starting to show a lot of fall color. I took a picture of a big leaf maple covered in licorice fern and a stand of various trees showing off their golden hues.
