    Watching a video named The Hungry Tide. It is about the impact of climate change on the tiny nation of Kiribati made of many small islands in Central Pacific ocean. It is so vulnerable. Climate change is deeply real to the people of this country.

    Saw a couple of dragonflies today on my walk on campus. Attached photo of a beautiful orange one I saw this summer near pond at Heritage Center across the campus from Marylhurst University. Huge. Magnificent!

    Some facts about plastics bags: 160,000 plastic bags are used globally every second! 5 trillion plastic bags are produced yearly. Side by side, they can encircle the world 7 times. All the more reason to use reusable grocery bags!
