    While I'm walking others are lounging around snacking. At least we're all outside in the fresh air away from screens.

    Must beat Will Ives... Will try to get more sleep and be more consistent with walks. I should get plenty of hiking in this weekend at Lamar Valley at the Expedition Yellowstone 30th Reunion for former staff and teachers. Oh, wait, the challenge doesn't last through the weekend and walking all over the neighborhood trick or treating on Halloween Monday won't count in the challenge either. I need to up my game and get into a routine so that daily walks can be more of a habit.

    I definitely should do better about daily walks and getting more sleep. I forgot to take bear spray with me on my walk Tuesday, but luckily only came upon a group of mule deer. I have to be vigilant about dodging elk which is more difficult in Mammoth than Gardiner.
