Susan Weinstein 10/28/2016 10:25 PMMy challenges taught me several things: that with commitment and intention, I can achieve my goals - even physical ones; that it's too easy for that 'dark' side of me and my character to loom up; and, that two weeks really goes by quickly. Thank you, particularly Sherry Hall, for getting me to increase my awareness, become more mindful and live a healthier lifestyle. Best wishes to all. -
Susan Weinstein 10/27/2016 10:46 PMDid all 3 challenges today/tonight. I came close to talking myself out of a real walk; but after my mindful dinner, decided that I could keep my commitment and out the door I went. -
Susan Weinstein 10/26/2016 8:15 PMWoke very early to watch the grandkids and walked shorter... but still did it and my other two goals too. Yippee!! -
Susan Weinstein 10/25/2016 10:23 PMLongest walk yet!! It's still hard to eat mindfully, ie without reading, listening or watching ... but I'm doing it. -
Susan Weinstein 10/24/2016 10:40 PMGood Day!! I'm now thinking about which challenges I will incorporate into my life. But, that takes me away from the present moment. AhHa. Being here now. -
Susan Weinstein 10/24/2016 10:43 AMI decided to take the moral high road ... I fell asleep in front of the TV while it was on ... and on ... and on. So I decided that I did not meet that challenge today because I 'should have' turned off TV and gone directly to bed. Grrr... hate being a couch sleeping potato! -
Susan Weinstein 10/22/2016 10:51 PMJumped out of bed this am and decided to walk ... to the store. It was such a lovely day. No TV all day! And, ate mindfully. -
Susan Weinstein 10/22/2016 12:45 AMI blew my challenge about eating with no distractions - darn. There I was reading the Voter's Guide while eating lunch, totally wrapped up in deciding how I was going to vote on the many issues we have before us - and whammo, all of a sudden I remembered my challenge ... too late. I did stop reading when I realized what I had been doing. What a learning experience. I'll do better tomorrow.

Susan Weinstein 10/22/2016 12:41 AMGuess I should have made recording my challenges another challenge in itself. My walk accomplished a task - I walked to the local grocery store. Eating in mindful solitude remains the biggest challenge. -
Susan Weinstein 10/19/2016 10:21 PMChallenges are going well, ie. successful, meeting my challenges. I won't be able to walk first thing tomorrow, so I'll have to make some other time. Good Luck everyone.
