Holly Windom 10/31/2016 6:22 AMThis is harder than it appeared. Being aware of your actions and truly making a different in your daily walk is enlighten. As one person I can change how the earth is maintained. It almost like being a superhero for sustainability. Wow, if only every one would do just one of the items listed this planet would be a really different in a short amount of time. This was a nice awareness project. I'm going to keep trying! -
Holly Windom 10/27/2016 7:12 AMYesterday I when to Aldi;'s Grocery store and used my cloth bags to pack my veggies & fruit for he week. I just keep them in my truck so I have them at anytime. At Adli's the prices are low and you have to pay for the bags which then makes pricing same as big box stores. I work in a building that has a floor that is a half of a block long and I try to walk around it 4 times a day when I go to restroom. Now that the weather here in Michigan is cold in the morning I rest so well. It is dark in the morning and dark when I get home. this makes me go to bed earlier and sleep longer. I feel more refreshed each day after 7 years of rest. That is a blessing to sleep well without drinking wine, Tylenol PM and comfort food! I feel wonderful! -
Holly Windom 10/26/2016 6:33 AMToday I attended a meeting with colleagues all across the country to review our plan for the next year with our IT resources. Before the meeting I refilled my water container and after the meeting I used my reusable tea cup. The hardest task for me is to increase my fruits and veggie daily. Some days I'm great (for about a week) then like this week due to I have not been to a store. I confess only one juice yesterday and no veggies all week and it is Wednesday! I need to promise myself I will do better to take of my body. After all it is over 55 and I need it to make the age 120 Moses did in the bible so can I! -
Holly Windom 10/25/2016 7:05 AMLiving on purpose is something new for me. I so buzy being buzy work, church, home life, volunteer, and parent care. It does take more time to refill my water cup vs. getting a water bottle on my way out of the house and $5.00 on grocery bill. Unplugging everything everyday is also a new process and I have to allow time for that too. So I'm uo 15 min earlier for all my new responsibilities. -
Holly Windom 10/20/2016 11:55 AM
Today I used my refillable water bottle more than twice. I keep one in each of the location where I work and one in the car. I walking at lunch time and I do not fill as sleepy about 3pm each day.-
Kristin Bloser 10/21/2016 11:56 AMThat's great!

Holly Windom 10/19/2016 11:52 AMBeing grateful is easy when your a Christian. You realize Christ Jesus died for our sins and nothing we do can repay him. We can encourage others that they too can have grace and mercy over they life if they trust and believe in him. I'm grateful for my income, position, and the understanding that as a human being living a responsible live for this planet. The great life I live does not have to happen to me but I'm blessed and grateful it is this way. It is not perfect for others but for me I'm very happy with it. -
Holly Windom 10/17/2016 11:40 AMVery Well, Making an effort to do better because I know what needs to be done really works for now. I post reminders in my phone and at my desk. I'm very good as a task master so I'm praying to keep it up! -
Holly Windom 10/11/2016 7:27 AMI'm ready to make some changes because I have been doing the same things the same way for 30 years.
Yes, that may sounds a little crazy but is it very comfortable do the same schedule. Work, Home, Church & visit family/friends. Not even noticing the environment (unless it rains) and not doing any thing to add value to the earth's sustainability. Truly I'm sorry from this day on I will do better due to now I know better. I will also encourage my friends and family to live on purpose. Enjoy life and be concerned with your surroundings. Give back and pay it forward. Yes, it is just not all cute sayings but words to live a full happy and giving life. Will you join me on this journey?
