This challenge is literally challenging: I am grateful for the opportunity to question my habits and change them. I am walking more, and I enjoy it.

I found some empty rain barrel containers and used gutters outside of a home that had been demolished.  I used these materials to create a rain collection system for my home.  After a couple of hours I had a rain collection system of my own!  My veggies in my garden and in my home are gonna love the rainwater!

I find committing to eating meals without distractions and limiting my social media use to 1x per day challenging on a daily basis. A challenge that can become a habit. Consistency is key!

"I will enjoy 3 meatless meal(s) per day" is a great, easy challenge- I'm already a vegetarian lol!

Working for a non-profit where the mission is to help people in need connect to resources in their community makes the "Help Others" daily challenge seem not very challenging!

I love composting! I compost lots of things many people don't think about, like paper towels, lint from the dryer, and the stuff from my vacuum (which is 99% dog hair).

So satisfying! Once in kindergarten we made paper out of dryer lint. I've also heard it's a really good fire starter.

I went to http://www.nature.org/ and completed the carbon footprint calculator and made a monthly contribution towards a carbon off-set.

I'm so proud of this team! What goal do you think we could make it to, points-wise? Do you think we could get to 3,000? 4,000? 5,000? By October 28.
