Sriram KC 11/03/2016 10:54 PMIt was really nice, see so many aspects where we can participate to make our environment more livable as in our past, where no one was deprived of the clean nature .. we should strive to do the same, to carry forward the clean nature , for the our next generations. -

Kate Barber 10/28/2016 10:09 AMHere's a fun challenge I encourage everyone to try... I found myself feeling a bit overwhelmed by stuff in my home recently... So many things that had accumulated over the years and much of it was rarely, if ever, used. I knew I'd feel better with less stuff. One of my ongoing goals is to live a more minimalist lifestyle, but I was also daunted to undertake a massive purge of things... so I set a small goal: Get rid of just 3 things every day, no matter how big or how small. That meant I could donate, recycle, or sell any item. It was tough at first but it kept getting easier and easier to the point where I was actually excited about doing it every day! I highly encourage folks to give it a try. It's a really good exercise that gives you a new perspective on how much you really need in life versus what are just wants... -
David Zhu 10/28/2016 9:41 AMGreat biking weather today in Markham! -
Sandy Hughes 10/28/2016 9:14 AMHave you ever turned off ALL of your lights and lit candles throughout the house instead? I've been doing this now for well over a month and just received my City of Austin Electric bill ... it was only $85!!! I'm on the right path to improving my Ecological Footprint :-)-
Kate Barber 10/28/2016 9:17 AMWow! That's awesome! Go you! What was your energy bill like before you started doing that? -
Sandy Hughes 10/28/2016 9:25 AMThe bill was up in the high $90's. We keep out thermostat at 78 24/7, so the only time our bill goes up into the $200's is during the heat of the Summer. -
Kate Barber 10/28/2016 9:51 AMVery cool! Love it when you can see the difference you're making like that. Great motivation to keep the habit. :)
