Dulcy Berri 10/28/2016 8:47 AMIdeas for keeping up the awareness? What was hardest? Note-To-Self (post-it?), incentives (a latte in a reusable cup of course), toot your own horn and join the real PBS Green Team! -
Dulcy Berri 10/28/2016 8:37 AMOn this last day, let's all reflect back! How has this worked to change any old habits? -
Dulcy Berri 10/26/2016 9:29 AMRaegan - I "challenge" you to try a parsnip or rutabaga! These are the fall vegetables that we should all get to know. Slice up like carrots for snacking, add to soups and stirfries! -
Dulcy Berri 10/26/2016 9:28 AMAs I am tracking my purchases each day, I see how much I spend on fancy coffee drinks! Is it really that much better? What about the plastic cup and straw, the mileage to the coffee shop (none nearby)? It's a break from the office, but the cumulative expense seems silly now! -
Dulcy Berri 10/24/2016 11:33 AMDaily trips to the declining vegetable garden are showing me that the season is NOT over! Kale and mustard greens, and especially Swiss chard are all loving this weather and hanging in there. -
Dulcy Berri 10/19/2016 9:43 AMThe weather may put off a walk around the neighborhood, but we just pile on the waterproof gear and head out! The trees are beautiful now, I like to pause and take it all in. Looking for things I didn't see in the summer, like mushrooms (Shaggy Manes!), animal trails, fall-blooming snowberry - it's a great time of year!

Dulcy Berri 10/11/2016 11:47 AMEating meatless is not so hard, in fact I need to be intentional about including protein. A salad is nice, but better with a few shrimp or beans tossed on top! -
Dulcy Berri 9/26/2016 3:27 PMWhere does all of this food go? I know, around my middle section, right? Old lettuce goes to the worm factory in the basement, tired veggies go into a "fridge soup", but the pressure to use what I've bought makes me lose my appetite! Time to buy less! -
Dulcy Berri 9/15/2016 10:58 AMStarting keeping a detailed record of purchases - wow! Like counting calories, it's eye-popping to see how the "wants" outnumber the "needs"!
