This year I'm looking at improving the sustainability of my finances and simplifying my life. I'll be using a programmable thermostat and sharing with my neighbors a "how to" setting the thermostats in our building, decluttering the apartment and tracking my spending more closely.

Good challenges! If you're interested in working on both your finances and simplifying your life I can't recommend Mr. Money Mustache enough! His blog is amazing and has endless good ideas for budgeting, investing, and living simply (www.mrmoneymustache.com), also he has a snarky sense of humor which I appreciate :)
