Congrats to Matthew for taking the lead with a whopping 365 eco-points!

Tomorrow there will be a $50 Visa gift card raffle on the EcoChallenge Facebook page. If you have 100 points or more you will automatically be entered. So far Matt, Kendall, Ursula, Megan, Richard and myself are eligible to win. Be sure that you check-in daily and record your progress so you can become eligible to win more fun prizes.

11 days into the 2016 Eco-challenge and I feel great! I have achieved my goals almost every day. The only one that has been a real challenge is not accepting disposable bags. The concept itself is not difficult because when I go grocery shopping I bring my own reusable bags. The only issue with this challenge is that it's hard to get the points when you don't go shopping every day.

Wow! Finding multiple challenges was difficult for me. After reading through all of the options, I realized that I already live a fairly sustainable lifestyle. When purchasing my plane ticket for Thanksgiving, I also purchased a carbon offset right through the Spirit Airline website for $1.00. It's the little things that can really make a difference.
