Eugene Kow 10/22/2016 9:05 PMI've been going strong on my meatless meals challenge, but tonight I was hosting a dinner party with my closest carnivore friends (who politely tolerate me most of the time) and I served up some locally caught salmon with miso glaze and dusted with panko. But I did try a new recipe for tofu burger patties so still some progress on expanding my meatless recipe book...-
Shawna Cain 10/27/2016 8:10 AMGlad to hear your meatless diet has been going well. No guilt about the salmon, it's all about balance and gratitude. And it's sounds delicious!
Have you heard of the impossible burger, http://sfist.com/2016/10/26/a_vegetarian_and_a_carnivore_try_th.php ?I once made a beet bean burger which was a homeade version of the "bleeding burger", mind tricks to satisfy my meat cravings :)
Good luck on your last two days!

Eugene Kow 10/19/2016 10:10 PMNot following my habit of listening to podcasts or watching reading the news on my laptop while eating breakfast was kind of difficult at first (like what am I supposed to do with my brain I'm not learning anything!)...but after a few days it has gotten easier to just chew in silence and taste the food for what it is and the nourishment it gives me to start my day. Maybe by the end of the two weeks I will be as zen as Mary Kay... -
