Sent letter to LA Times: Thanks for your editorial on Aliso Canyon. I'm looking forward to the end of election season so that our elected representatives can start responding to the need to end our reliance on fossil fuels

I set up table at Environmental conference for CCL, and explained Carbon Fee and Dividend to 40 people.  All were environmentalists, but many had not heard of Citizen's Climate Lobby or the consept of carbon pricing to reduce carbon emissions.

I sent this letter to LA times:  Hooray! 200 nations have agreed on limiting hydroflurocarbons.  This whole process was started when Ronald Reagan embraced the 1987 Montreal Protocol that phased out chloro-flourocarbons (CFCs).  Reagan  said he didn't really understand the science, but if there was a chance that scientists were correct about the hole in the ozone, we needed to take steps to limit the damage. Let's continue bi-partisan support for all measures to slow climate change.  My next choice would be carbon pricing.  That will reduce more CO2 to keep our planet livable.

I've been doing small things for years: solar panels church and home, electric car, native plant gardens, short showers etc, but I realized that while these small things help, and set a good example, it is not enough.  A year ago, I found Citizens Climate Lobby. Now I have a positive goal to get US Congress to Pass Carbon Fee and Dividend.
