Marili Reilly 10/06/2016 3:55 PMAs I reviewed the options this year, I realized that many of the choices I made last year have become integrated into my life: Last year I planted herbs and vegetables which we are still enjoying; we shop with the "100-mile" rule in mind (although we aren't always successful); I have been participating in a new exercise program which includes an hour of exercise five days a week, plus a mile walk to and from the gym; and we eat two meatless meals most day, plus at least one meatless day every week. This year's goals have less to do with food, energy, water, and transportation because I have already adopted many of the practices mentioned, so this year I plan to continue my new good habits and add more "mental health" practices from the health, nature, and simplicity categories.
