Amy Van Saun 10/19/2016 8:36 AMI just bought 1/2 a pasture raised pig from a local farmer - so my chest freezer will be full of good pork raised to the highest ethical and environmental standards! This is the cheapest way to get good meat - bulk! -
Amy Van Saun 10/14/2016 10:23 AMRemembered my hydroflask for to do coffee this morning (guest teaching a class at 8am = NEED COFFEE) and brought lunch in a glass snap-lid container. Not using disposable food and beverage containers is always a challenge when you eat and drink out, so that is one of my favorite goals for this challenge. So far, so good.-
Amy Van Saun 10/14/2016 10:31 AMI am a member of GoBox and I love it! Bringing my own container for left overs at a sit down restaurant is a really good idea I hadn't thought of, thank you. -
Noel Tavan 10/14/2016 10:27 AMHello Amy, a lot of places (food carts mostly) will take your reusable container to put food in. Check the "To GO box" program in Portland. You could always go out and sit down and bring your reusable container in case you got left over.
