Composting at its finest. Notice how the cellulose skeleton of that leaf is the only thing remaining? Pretty cool! Wish my compost look that pretty! Right now it's full of coffee grounds, egg shells and cauliflower leaves. Don't forget to add to send those food waste bits to the garden, noted garbage bin! -

Feeling a little sluggish today during the challenge as I sit here swamped with work. Thought I'd share this photo because it's the type that reignites my drive to keeping taking those small environmentally positive steps forward... I was recently in Santiago, Chile and during one of my walking trips around town, I took the little train up to the top of San Cristobal Hill and this is what I saw, a gorgeous city swimming in pollution. I really disliked seeing pollution creep in day after day, obscuring the mountains. For me I need little reminders that every little thing adds up and frankly, I just want to continue to see those beautiful Andes!
